Check Out Our House!

This is the property in the begining of July. We had felled eleven trees last summer, and had worked through the winter cutting firewood and getting trees hauled out... all that remained was the stumps!
First we had to get all the stumps pulled out and get our dig out started...


We had to put the stumps in two piles to burn, it took days to burn them down into ashes!

We have a foundation!

Our first walls go up...
Dave's parents have been coming out once a week to hang out and help do some work on the house. It has been a blast, and Gracie loves hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa! This day they helped to compact Dave's office to get it ready for cement!

We went down to Portland for the weekend. Sandy and I took Grace on a long walk and hike. She got pretty tired, but entertained herself with her hat!
